Our Story
The Idea
Hebdon Reblin Design (HRD) has been the dream of lead designer Elizabeth Hebdon Reblin since her college days at TCU. Beginning her freshman year, she kept sketch paper and a pen in her bedside table to capture the inspiration for her designs. HRD started in 2009 as Painted Steeples. Elizabeth’s obsession with bright colors, coupled with her love for her hometown of San Antonio, led her to begin transforming terracotta clay churches, missions and Alamos from Mexico, into colorful keepsakes. Her creations were extremely popular as gifts for baby showers, Baptisms, weddings, and Fiesta. In 2015, Elizabeth and her family sold their house and were living out of boxes for a few months while finding their new home. Sadly, during her box-dwelling phase, her paints and churches were packed up, but her desire to create was not! As a creative outlet, Elizabeth began making necklaces, rings and earrings for family and friends. As her friends began wearing her jewelry, her golden wire flower became the iconic addition to each of her pieces- and her signature brand was born! Her ideas and designs kept growing so that in the fall of 2018 she decided to change her business name to Hebdon Reblin Designs to capture her passion for creating beautiful pieces for women and the home. Today, Elizabeth is painting, designing and creating and cannot wait to share her dreams with you!
The Designs
